Every decision from building materials to the items on our restaurant´s menu are carefully made to respect and preserve the way of life and traditions of local communities and to minimize our impact on the environment.

We are anxious to live in harmony with the nature and to protect and to preserve it as far as it is possible. To be economical with energy resources is natural for us and our lighting is equipped with energy saving illuminants, such as LED technology.

 

We have built a wastewater garden for our sewage system. This ecologically friendly kind of sewage disposal provides a well-balanced and well functioning ecological system. 

 

Suitable with our eco concept our swimming pools are equipped with an ozone filter system. This saves the environment and provides a very good water quality.

Desa Saya combines the use of antique houses with new structures built with sustainable reclaimed wood.

 

 

Organic Bath Products 

 

The free toiletries provided in our bath rooms are natural cosmetics as well – all hand made in Bali.

We offer organic mosquito repellent and incense in each room.
